Holly Berry Brunch 2023

Join the Garden Club of Dearborn at our annual fundraiser, the Holly Berry Brunch. The proceeds will support things like local scholarships, civic beautification, etc.

Date/Time: December 2, 2023, 10:30am-2pm (lunch served at noon)
Location: Park Place (23400 Park Street, Dearborn, MI 48124)
Tickets: $35 and $40 to be listed as a benefactor

We once again welcome you to enjoy our wonderful raffle, silent auction and 50/50 drawing.

Year End Meeting and Luncheon

NEW LOCATION AND TIME!

Date/Time: June 26, 2023 at 11am
Location: First Presbyterian Church Dearborn on Brady St.
Program: Annual Meeting – Installation of Officers

This meeting will include the Installation of Officers for the 2023-2025 period and will be a catered luncheon.  The cost of the luncheon is $20.  Monies/check (payable to the Garden Club of Dearborn) should be given to Laurine Griffin no later than June 21st in order for us to give the caterer (Szegedis) a final headcount.  The menu will be as follows:

•      Szegedis Golden Chicken
•      Stuffed Cabbage
•      Four Cheese Vegetable Lasagna
•      Wedged Red Skin Potatoes
•      Green Beans Almondine
•      Fresh Cut Veggie Relish Tray
•      Fresh Cut Fruit Salad
•      Assorted Strudel

Please plan to attend and enjoy a delicious meal and mingle with your gardening friends before we break for the summer months.  We will have a free raffle – those attending will be given a ticket at the luncheon for a chance to win a prize.

Additionally, the DuVall PTA Is excited to announce our Native Plant sale June 5 during the Edison Street Sale in partnership with the Eastern Michigan Native Plant Collective. Plants and specialty plant kits will also be available for preorder and curbside pickup that day. Order forms will be going out next week. We will also be looking for some volunteers to work a shift during the sale. A signup genius will be coming out soon! Native plants are a great way to support butterflies and other important pollinators, and proceeds from our sale will benefit the DuVall PTA and Butterfly Garden!
