GCD partners with Snow Woods Neighborhood Association on recycling project

The GCD is partnering with the Snow Woods Neighborhood Association to recycle plastic caps and lids where they will be repurposed as neighborhood benches.

As of January 8, 2024, we have a marked receptacle at all our GDC General Meetings where you can deposit any caps or lids you may have, which in turn will be sent to Snow Woods.

Year End Meeting and Luncheon

NEW LOCATION AND TIME!

Date/Time: June 26, 2023 at 11am
Location: First Presbyterian Church Dearborn on Brady St.
Program: Annual Meeting – Installation of Officers

This meeting will include the Installation of Officers for the 2023-2025 period and will be a catered luncheon.  The cost of the luncheon is $20.  Monies/check (payable to the Garden Club of Dearborn) should be given to Laurine Griffin no later than June 21st in order for us to give the caterer (Szegedis) a final headcount.  The menu will be as follows:

•      Szegedis Golden Chicken
•      Stuffed Cabbage
•      Four Cheese Vegetable Lasagna
•      Wedged Red Skin Potatoes
•      Green Beans Almondine
•      Fresh Cut Veggie Relish Tray
•      Fresh Cut Fruit Salad
•      Assorted Strudel

Please plan to attend and enjoy a delicious meal and mingle with your gardening friends before we break for the summer months.  We will have a free raffle – those attending will be given a ticket at the luncheon for a chance to win a prize.
